Want to get certified to do business with NC DOT? At this day session you will gain the knowledge about DBE, have application reviewed (if complete will be taken for processing), and overview of contracting / website navigation. Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Program (DBE) Certification is a legislatively mandated USDOT program that applies to federal-aid highway dollars expended on federally assisted contracts issued by USDOT recipients such as state transportation agencies. NC DOT certification programs are designed to advance the economy and strengthen communities across the state. Prequalification is necessary to ensure that a vendor has sufficient ability and experience to do the work specified on NCDOT contracts.
